The government has taken a plan to establish a car factory in the country with technical support from foreign companies to improve the lives of the common people. The government is going to do this jointly with private and private organizations. In this case, the government has taken into consideration the purchasing capacity of ordinary people.

Prices of cars made in local factories can be fixed at ($ 6,250 US Dollar) five(5) lac. In a letter sent from the Prime Minister's Office to the Ministry of Industries, the information was sent. The letter sent from the Prime Minister's Office asked the private entrepreneurs to set up a factory in the country and to cooperate with them all.

The Ministry of Industries has been instructed to be a cooperative organization in this paper.

According to the ministry of industries, Grogoti Industries Limited, a subsidiary of Bangladesh Steel and Steel Company Limited, will be set up in full swing as well. This kind of factory will be set up in a joint venture with private sector entrepreneurs in government supervision.

In the foreign investor's election of the car, several trade delegations led by FBCCI, the top businessmen of the country, visited China, Iran, Japan, India, and Malaysia. In the same context, traders interested in investing in Bangladesh's car sector with Jolli, Iran's Saipa, Malaysia's Proton Saga, India's Tata, Japan's Honda Company.

Abdul Matlub Ahmad, FBCCI president and chairman of the country's transport sector, Nitol Niloy Group, said, "Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has thought of car sales in the purchasing capacity of ordinary people and gave us guidance as per that.

He assured all types of cooperation to build cars in the country and build cars. After this, we discussed with the world's renowned organizations. So far we have discussed with the entrepreneurs of five countries. We hope to have a final round of discussions with China's Jillian Company for making cars in our country next month.

Abdul Matlub Ahmad also said many big business organizations in Bangladesh are keen to come to the business of car manufacturing in the country. Talks are going on with FBCCI through a foreign car manufacturing company. But the Prime Minister advised not to charge more than five lac taka ($ 6,250 US Dollar)for the car. Talks are going on keeping in mind the price.

On 9th May, Nitol Niloy Group Chairman Abdul Matlub Ahmad went to Tehran on Iran. At that time a long discussion was made with the Saipa authorities, one of Iran's leading car manufacturing companies, to make a car in Bangladesh.

In the meeting, Matlub Ahmad urged Saipa authorities to supply technical assistance, technical expertise.

Saipa Authority gives positive feedback to the joint venture with Bangladesh investors. After the talks with the central bank of Bangladesh with the Bangladesh Bank, the delegation of that country will visit Bangladesh.

Nitol Niloy Group Chairman Matlub Ahmad said, "Once upon a time, China's investors have manufactured products by making factory in China to joint venture with foreign investors. Now China is self-reliant, self-sufficient, to produce technical support. They are now traveling around the world. Their technology is now the best. We do not need money. The government is supporting the policy. There is enough room for the construction of factories. There are cheap workers. Now, after getting technical assistance, Bangladesh can be self-reliant in manufacturing factories.

Industries Secretary Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan said the industries ministry is working in the country. In this important sector, private entrepreneurs have been called. They are interested. All private operators will be assisted in this sector. The Ministry of Industries has extended cooperation.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had thought of making a car in the country during the previous tenure. During the inspection of the Ministry of Industries, the then Industries Minister Dilip Barua asked to make the vehicles suitable for general public use.

The industry ministry's initiative did not go very far. Progress Industries Limited, a subsidiary of Bangladesh Steel and Steel Corporation, has made Pajero Zip in a short-range, but it is beyond the purchasing capacity of ordinary people. At the same time, the initiative to build a sedan carrier stops midway. This time, the Prime Minister put in charge of private sector entrepreneurs to make low-cost cars.
